“As we continue our drive home from Sault Ste. Marie, we made a fun stop at Young’s General Store! 🛍️🚍

We always have a great time at this unique little gem. They’ve got just about everything you can imagine when it comes to souvenirs — plus salami, ice cream, fudge, and yes… even pickles in a barrel! 🧼🍦🥒

There’s always laughter and memories to be made here — and today was no exception. 💬📸

Before reaching the hotel, we announced the winner of our Guess the Mileage Game — congratulations to Agnes Olfert, who was just 15 kms shy of the actual total: 5,516 kms! 📏🏆 She was the closest without going over.

“🚍 We were off to explore the Farmer’s Market this morning — and what a treat! Building after building was filled with everything we could hope for: from handmade creams and crafts to fresh produce and local meats. 🧴🍎🥩

Convenient transportation was available all afternoon, shuttling between the Farmer’s Market, the hotel, and the charming Village of St. Jacobs. 🛍️🏨🌻

After returning to the hotel, we had the rest of the evening to relax and enjoy at our own pace. A perfect way to end a wonderful day!” 🌅🛌

“🚍 A short drive this morning took us to Waterloo, where our adventure began with a local guide joining us onboard to share insights into life in the Mennonite community.

We drove through the countryside, passing farms, horse-drawn buggies, one-room schools, and local stores. 🐴🌾🏫

We even stopped to walk across a charming Kissing Bridge and visited several shops operated by Mennonite families — a wonderful opportunity to support local artisans and learn more about their way of life. 🛍️🧺

It was a meaningful and enriching day, getting to know a different and beautiful way of living.”

“Today we woke up in the Honeymoon Capital! 💕🌊 A hearty breakfast gave us the energy we needed to take on a busy, interesting, and very enjoyable day. 🍳☕

Our guide Grace met us at the hotel, and we boarded Coach 127 for a full day of exploration! 🚌

We started with a scenic tour around Niagara Falls, then made our way to the charming town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, where we had plenty of time to stroll, shop, and soak it all in. 🛍️🌸🏘️

Next up — a visit to a local winery for some delightful tastings! 🍷✨ Let’s just say… we may have put a bit of a dent in the top shelf.

We also made a stop at Picard’s, home of peanuts in just about every flavour you can imagine — and yes, we definitely stocked up on their legendary chocolate-covered sponge toffee. 🥜🍫

The evening brought a stunning view of the Falls from the top of the Skylon Tower, where we enjoyed a delicious dinner. 🍽️🌃

“It was bittersweet leaving Ottawa this morning. How wonderful it would be to spend more time in this beautiful city and take in all its rich history! Thank you, Ottawa, for your warmth and hospitality.

Next stop: the Brockville Railway Tunnel — and what a unique experience it was! 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️
The 20-minute walk through Canada’s first railway tunnel was amazing. The light and sound show was spectacular, and the information boards made it all the more fascinating. This historic tunnel, built between 1845 and 1860, has been beautifully preserved.

After lunch (which gave us the fuel we needed!) 🍽️ we were off again…

The 1000 Islands cruise was a definite highlight — the views were stunning and the entire experience exceeded our expectations! ⛴️🌅🏝️

We ended our day in Kingston, where some of us explored the local area while others opted to relax and recharge. 🏨✨

OTTAWA & NIAGARA FALLS 🏞️🚌📸
(Happening Now)

“As we boarded the coach this morning, the skies opened up with a rain shower ☔ — not quite what we’d hoped for as we headed to Commissioners Park for a guided tour of the blooming tulips 🌷.

But as we arrived and waited a little while, the rain disappeared — almost as if it knew we had arrived! The entire walking tour stayed dry and delightful.

Our guide was actually an actor in costume, playing the role of a narrator from the 1940s 🎭. As she led us through the park, explaining the many varieties of tulips we were seeing, another actor would occasionally appear out of nowhere — interacting with her and speaking to us in character, as if we’d stepped back in time ⏳.

This role-playing element was both entertaining and, at times, quite moving 💬❤️.

After the park, we made stops at the War Museum, Museum of History, and the National Gallery of Canada 🏛️. Passengers were able to hop off and spend time exploring the exhibits that interested them most.

Our last evening in Ottawa was spent enjoying dinner together at Tucker’s Marketplace 🍽️. We all walked over from the hotel and ended the night with full bellies and good memories. A great time was had by all!”
