๐ HUGE NEWS FOR ONTARIO IMMIGRATION! ๐
โThe Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) is proposing a complete overhaul of its provincial pathways for permanent residence. This is a game-changer for prospective nominees!
โHereโs a breakdown of the proposed changes, set to roll out in two phases:
โ๐ก PHASE 1: Streamlining Job Offers
The three existing "Employer: Job Offer" streams will be consolidated into a single stream with two pathways:
โTEER 0-3 Pathway: Targets skilled workers, prioritizing those already in Canada, with requirements for median wage, work experience, and post-secondary education.
โTEER 4-5 Track: Focused on filling labor shortages in frontline, service, and manufacturing roles. Key additions include a minimum language requirement and targeted draws.
โโจ PHASE 2: Three Brand New Streams
The OINP plans to eliminate all other existing streams and introduce three highly targeted pathways:
โ๐ฅ Priority Healthcare Stream: A dedicated path for regulated healthcare workers, with a significant proposed feature: No Job Offer Required for those with valid professional registration!
โ๐ผ Entrepreneur Stream: A redesigned pathway for newcomers who invest in the province, create jobs, or take over existing businesses.
โ๐ Exceptional Talent Stream: A qualitative pathway for high-achievers in academia, innovation, science, technology, and creative sectors who may not qualify under traditional job-offer or points-based systems.
โโ ๏ธ Whatโs Next?
The OINP is currently seeking feedback from stakeholders on these proposed changes. Stay tuned for implementation details!
