We offer horse drawn, covered wagon tours through Spruce Woods Provincial Park. Capture the beauty of the untouched wild and pristine out-back country, exploring the spectacular moving sand dunes and the intriguing Devil's Punch Bowl. We take 2 separate 15 minute stops at each location, total ride is 1.5 hours in length. Rides leave at 10:00, 12:00 and 2:00. Please call or text Larry to book your reservations @ 204-526-7727.

A little rain doesn’t stop the adventure out here at Spirit Sands Wagon Outfitters! As long as the trails are safe and the weather isn’t too wild, we’re still running wagon rides — and they’re a whole different kind of beautiful in the rain.

☔ Bring a raincoat or poncho and cozy up under the wagon canopy.
🐎 Our horses are sure-footed and steady, rain or shine.
🌾 The scent of wet sand and sage, the sound of raindrops on canvas — it’s a peaceful and unforgettable experience.
📸 Don’t forget your camera — the moody skies and misty dunes make for incredible photos!

We always keep a close eye on the weather for everyone’s safety, and we’ll delay or cancel rides only when necessary.

🌞 Heat Advisory Notice from Spirit Sands Wagon Outfitters 🌞

At Spirit Sands Wagon Outfitters, the safety and well-being of our horses, guests, and team is our top priority.

As the summer goes on and temperatures continue to rise, we need to be especially mindful of the heat and take care of our horses. These incredible animals give their all, and we won’t push them beyond safe limits.

🐴 We may shut down our 2 o’clock rides, or cancel tours entirely on extremely hot days. The afternoon is the hottest part of the day, and it's important we let the horses rest and stay cool.
📢 Please check our page before heading out — we’ll post updates if we need to adjust our schedule due to heat.
💧 Bring water, wear hats, and be prepared for summer conditions, especially on morning rides that are still running.

We appreciate your understanding as we do what's best for the animals and everyone's safety.

For the next two weeks, we’ll be offering wagon rides through the beautiful Spirit Sands and Devil’s Punch Bowl on the following days:

🟢 Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
🟢 PLUS Monday, August 5th (August Long Weekend!)

🚫 Please note: We’ll be CLOSED Monday to Thursday as we are currently short-staffed. We appreciate your patience and understanding while we do our best to provide a great experience on the days we're running!
