Quick travel story I want to share, because it’s important.
I recently had a large group travelling, and on the way home their flight was cancelled. Most of the group had to wait for the airline to sort things out — and if you’ve ever been in that situation, you know it can mean long delays, limited options, and a whole lot of waiting around.
One person in the group had trip interruption insurance.
That person was able to book a seat on a different airline right away and get home, instead of waiting days. And if extra hotel nights had been needed, interruption insurance would have covered that too if the airline didn’t.
This is why I talk about travel insurance so much — especially interruption coverage.
And I want to be very clear: I honestly don’t care where you buy it. From me, online, through your bank — it doesn’t matter. I just want you to have it.
I know some people feel skeptical when agents bring up insurance. It can feel like a money grab. But situations like this are exactly why it matters. Airlines don’t always fix things quickly, and insurance gives you options when things go sideways.
You hope you never need it… but when you do, it can make all the difference.
