While in Ocho Rios I went to see the new Bob Marley: One Love movie at the Cove Theatre.

Two things that were different from the movie theatres back home were they stand for their national anthem before the show starts and they also stop it in the middle for an intermission.

One ticket cost $2300 JMD which is around $20 Canadian

I did the White River Bamboo Rafting tour yesterday. You’re comfortably seated on a wooden raft completely crafted from bamboo. You'll then have about an hour to travel down the river with your local guide, checking out the lush scenery as you float along.

Hello from Jamaica! 🇯🇲

My first stop on this trip was Kingston, the capital city of Jamaica where I took a guided tour of The Bob Marley Museum!

The museum is located at 56 Hope Road, Kingston, and is Bob Marley's former place of residence. All the original rooms have been kept as they were when Bob lived here and knowledgeable guides will es**rt you through the grounds, which include the main house, exhibition hall, theatre, gift shops and the One Love Café.

“Bongo Herman” who is shown in some of these pictures, grew up in Trench Town with Bob Marley, and worked alongside him for years.
