Got to meet Ethan Bear. Ethan Bear is a Cree-Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman. Hailing from the Ochapowace Nation in Saskatchewan, he currently plays for the New York Islanders in the NHL. He is widely recognized for his advocacy for Indigenous youth and being the first NHL player to wear his name in Cree syllabics.
