Some outdoor adventures stay with you forever! 🇨🇦✈️

For me, it’s the journey into Aylmer Lake Lodge, deep in the remote, roadless barrenlands of Canada’s Northwest Territories.

Watching the float plane arrive, surrounded by endless wilderness, incredible wildlife, and the brilliant colours of the Arctic tundra, never gets old.

No roads. No crowds. Just the wild Canadian North.

The incredible golden body, bright orange fins and unique markings are what make these northern lake trout so spectacular. You never know what colours are going to come over the side of the boat.
