Who else agrees that our summer is WAY TOO SHORT?

Everyday is becoming cooler as the temperature begins to drop.

The sun has began setting a little earlier each night. It has become so dark at night that we are now able to see the northern lights again!

As I am excited to be gazing at the spectacular northern lights, I will miss our midnight summer sunsets.

Summer is now gone and I am longing for my evening photo shoots. This past summer I particularly took joy in capturing our late night summer sunsets.

What will you miss most about summer?

Casually walking along the Ingraham Trail 🐻

Black bears are just one of many animals that can be seen near Yellowknife.

These animals look cute and cuddly, but only from a FAR distance!

Watch out for the porcupines!

Along the Ingraham Trail were three porcupines waddling across the highway. Remember to always keep an eye out for wildlife! There are many wildlife sightings to be seen along the trail. However, with the brush on the side of the road, animals can be difficult to spot leaving you with less reaction time to hit the break if necessary.
