🎉Library Fun Week
🗓️Monday, Aug 24 - Saturday, Aug 29 - Yorkton Public Library
The library will be hosting a variety of events this week to wrap up the summer before school starts! The events include:
-Playdoh Day (August 24 from 10 am to 11:30 am)
-Lego Day (August 25 at 2 pm)
-Storytime (August 26 at 10:30 am)
-Special Guest Magician Danny Kazam (August 26 at 2 pm)
-Movie Day showing Monsters University (August 27 at 2 pm)
Grab & go crafts and scavenger hunts will also be available anytime all week!
All ages are welcome at these programs, children 6 and under require adult accompaniment. No registration required for any of these events.
🎬Outdoor Movie Night
🗓️Thursday, Aug 27, 8:30pm - Legacy Co-op Grandstand
Free outdoor movie night showing Monster University, admission is free. Papa R Mini Donuts will be on-site early with mini donuts to purchase before the movie starts. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets. Event will occur weather permitting.
🏳️🌈Yorkton Pride Parade
🗓️Saturday, Aug 29, 11am
Parade starts from Shaw Park to City Centre Park. Party to follow with speakers, live music and booths. Free hot dogs and cupcakes! Bring your own lawn chair or blanket to sit on.
