on 03.08.2025 at about hours an accident took place on Kathua-Basohli road near Kainta Morh (Dakhnaka) in the jurisdictional area of PP Basantpur when XUV car bearing Registration No.PB10KB- 5888 skidded off the road and fell down in a Nallah resulting which all the 05 persons in the said vehicle got seriously injured. The Police Party of PP Basantpur rescued them and shifted to GMC Kathua where two of them have been declared brought dead namely (1) Mohinder Paul S/o not known R/o not known (2) Pawan Madhan S/o not known R/o not known and 03 other injureds namely (1 Anil Monga R/o Orhak Chand (2) Sunny Arora S/o Madan Lal (3) Sudhir S/o Kishan Chand all are Rs/o Ferozpur tehsil & District Ferozepur who are still under treatment at GMC Kathua
