Makli Graveyard, located in Thatta, Sindh, Pakistan, is one of the largest and most historic necropoles in the world. It covers an area of approximately 15 square kilometers and contains millions of graves, making it a city of the dead.

The graveyard is estimated to be over 500 years old, with the oldest graves dating back to the 14th century. It is the final resting place of numerous notable figures, including Sufi saints, scholars, and royalty, such as the Samma Dynasty rulers.

The graves in Makli are adorned with intricately carved stone monuments, showcasing the skill of ancient craftsmen. The architecture is a blend of Islamic, Persian, and Indian styles, reflecting the cultural diversity of the region.
