The picturesque landscapes of Tuscany are a paradise for photography. Join us in November 2025 in the marvellous Val d’Orcia in Tuscany. With over 20 years of experience in the region, we know the local weather conditions inside out and know which photo location works best in which weather. The Val d’Orcia is like a second home to us and we know the area inside out.
We will spend 4 nights in a small, charming hotel in Pienza in Val d’Orcia. The picturesque Val d’Orcia stands out as having one of the most beautiful sceneries in the whole of Tuscany. The region offers an unbelievably large range of fantastic opportunities for photography which includes typical landscapes with the classic green hills, farms with alleys of cypress trees, villas, chapels and small, untouched medieval towns. From a photography point of view, spring or autumn is the perfect time of the year. The mist often rises in the early morning which lends a sense of mysticism to the landscape. During the autumn, photographers are also treated to a range of beautiful spots that are perfect to photograph. The fields display beautiful golden-brown tones, the trees wear their autumn finery, beautiful banks of cloud roll by and there are often fantastic light conditions.
