A change of scenery for October.

Our season in the Swiss Alps may be over, but the riding doesn’t stop there.

Every October, we head south to Tuscany, Italy, with a group of guests to enjoy a completely different side of mountain biking.

With Boris, one of our e-Alps guides, and a local Italian guide leading the way, we get to explore new landscapes, discover incredible trails, and enjoy a few more days on the bike. 🙌

One last ride to close out the season!

We decided to climb to the Col de Mille, stop for lunch at Kampana, and finish the day back at the warehouse.

A pretty good way to wrap up another season in the Alps!

From Leukerbad to Lauchernalp, another day exploring the Valais on incredible alpine trails, surrounded by landscapes that keep changing as we move deeper into the mountains.

Two ways to ride from Chamonix to Zermatt.

Our Original Haute Route and Alpine Discovery share the same goal: crossing the Alps by E-MTB over 7 days and finishing beneath the Matterhorn.

The main difference is the technical level.

The Original Haute Route is our Level 3 itinerary, with more technical singletrack and more demanding terrain.

Alpine Discovery is Level 2, designed for riders who want the full Chamonix to Zermatt journey on more accessible trails, with less emphasis on advanced bike-handling skills.

Two itineraries, one iconic journey across the Alps. The Original Haute Route and Alpine Discovery both connect Chamonix to Zermatt, but offer a different level of technical riding along the way.

Both trips are 7-day guided E-MTB adventures, with the same level of support and the same destination. What changes is the terrain we choose to get you there.

The Original Haute Route is made for experienced mountain bikers who enjoy technical riding. Expect more challenging singletrack, steeper sections and terrain where good bike-handling skills matter.

Alpine Discovery keeps the spirit and scale of the Chamonix to Zermatt journey while reducing the technical difficulty. It’s a better fit for riders who are comfortable on a mountain bike but don’t necessarily want highly technical trails.

The biggest difference between the two itineraries is not the scenery, support or overall experience. It’s the level of technical riding you’ll encounter throughout the week.

Whichever route you choose, the goal remains the same: ride across the Alps from Chamonix to Zermatt and experience one of our signature E-MTB journeys.

Autumn is slowly settling in at higher elevations. 🍂
The colors are starting to change, the air feels a little cooler, and the mountains are beginning to take on a completely different atmosphere.

There is still plenty of riding to enjoy, but you can feel the season shifting day by day. One of those special times of year in the Alps when summer is not quite gone, and autumn is already finding its place.
