New for 2027: Crans-Montana to Zermatt. ⚡️⚡️

We’ve extended our Haute Route through the UNESCO Aletsch region with two additional days of riding, taking the journey all the way to Zermatt.

7 days.
274 km / 170 miles.
13,100 m / 43,000 ft of elevation gain.
16, 710 m / 54,822 ft of descent

From Crans-Montana, across high Alpine passes and remote valleys, past the Aletsch Glacier, and finally into Zermatt beneath the Matterhorn.

One Haute Route. Seven days across the Swiss Alps.

Some of our guides have been with us since the very beginning.
When, after all these years, they still ask for a souvenir photo on the last day of Chamonix to Zermatt, that says it all. ✨

Last year, we filmed the complete e-Alps experience, riding the Haute Route from Verbier to Zermatt over five days.

Five days on the trails, moving through the Swiss Alps and showing what an e-Alps trip really looks like, from the riding to everything that happens along the way.

Want to see the full journey? Watch the full film on YouTube using the link in the comments.

Quick update for 2027: we’ve refined the itinerary and split the original first day into two, giving us more time to enjoy the trails and the experience along the way. ✌️

That’s the kind of landscape and trails you’ll have to deal with if you ride with us in 2027. Not the worst place to spend a week.

Haute Route from Crans Montana to Aletsch or all the way to Zermatt.

Two adventures. One incredible part of the Alps.

You probably remember the tragic events in Blatten last year.

Blatten was one of the special places we stopped during our Crans Montana to Aletsch Haute Route. Seeing what happened to the village was heartbreaking.

Only six months later, something remarkable began to take shape.

Together with the passionate hosts of Hotel Edelweiss and the Nest und Bietschhorn, the Momentum project was created. A modular timber hotel, built by Swiss companies with a focus on sustainability, flexibility and giving the region a place to welcome guests again.

This summer, we had the chance to stay there with
e-Alps.

We’re incredibly grateful to see life returning to the valley, to support the people behind this project, and simply to be back in this incredible place.

And that view… it’s hard to put into words.

Some journeys are measured in kilometers.

We measure ours a little differently.

In shared lunches on a mountain pass.
In the confidence that comes from riding with experienced guides.
In the comfort of arriving at a hotel where everything is already taken care of.
In the freedom of knowing your next battery, your luggage and tomorrow’s route are already waiting for you.

The numbers matter.
But they’re only part of the story.

Swipe through to discover what makes our Chamonix to Zermatt journey more than just another mountain bike trip.

7 days. 279 km. 12,800 m of climbing.
From Chamonix to Zermatt, this isn’t about checking off famous landmarks. It’s about spending a full week immersed in the Alps, riding an itinerary we’ve refined over years to showcase the very best trails, landscapes and mountain villages.

Every day, our logistics team prepares and delivers a fresh lunch directly on the route. It’s a chance to recharge, enjoy the scenery and share the experience together before heading back onto the trails.

Two guides means more than extra safety. It allows us to adapt to different riding styles, offer coaching when needed and ensure every rider gets the attention they deserve throughout the week.

Long alpine climbs demand plenty of energy. Instead of asking you to manage battery life, we simply replace it at lunch so you can ride with confidence from morning to evening.

After a full day on the bike, you’ll arrive at hotels chosen for their comfort, welcoming atmosphere and great food. Your luggage is already waiting, so all that’s left to do is relax.

From luggage transfers and route planning to battery management and daily logistics, we take care of everything behind the scenes. You get to enjoy what you came for: riding some of the best trails in the Alps.

Seven days later, you roll into Zermatt with the Matterhorn rising above the village. It’s the perfect finish to a journey that many riders have dreamed of for years.

Every day on an e Alps trip is made up of different moments.

For some riders, the biggest achievement is reaching the top of the climb. For others, it’s the descent that follows.

The best part is that everyone finishes the day with their own story to tell. ✌️
