Kampong Cham, though neither modern nor majestic from a natural point of view, stands out for its peaceful charm that embodies the very essence of Cambodia. With few tourists, it lives at a slow pace, offers a marked authenticity and is populated by extremely welcoming!

The pink temple stones carving

35 km north of Siem Reap lies Banteay Srey, meaning the citadel of women or fortune. Situated 20 km northeast of Bayon, this temple is on the site of the ancient city of Isvarapura, near the mountain of Phnom Dei.
The temple was restored between 2010 and 2016 by a team from the University of Geneva and the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Switzerland. Funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and the Cambodian government, the project's main aim was to repair the damage left by run-off, looting and vandalism.
Along with the archaeological site of Angkor and, more recently, Preah Vihear, Banteay Srey is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
