We’ve now reached the halfway point of the year ☀️
In Grindelwald, summer is slowly waking up at this time of year; it’s getting warmer, the evenings are getting longer, and we’re spending more time outdoors 🍃
The mountains are shedding their white winter coats, and we’re looking forward to everything that’s to come ⛰️

What? All of this made from natural materials? 🌲
The Land Art Festival is one of Grindelwald’s annual events and captivates visitors with its connection to nature, its beauty, and its simplicity 🍃 https://bit.ly/LandArtGrindelwald26

And soon it will start:
From June 8–12, 11 pairs of artists will create works of art at the “Upper Glacier”/Hotel Wetterhorn, where you can visit the artists while they are working ⛰️
There will also be a collaborative project involving a school class, you can find out more about it on our website or during the Festival 📲
On June 13, guided tours and the official closing ceremony will take place ☀️

Opening Party – Top Taste of Grindelwald ✨

What a beautiful evening – great atmosphere, perfect weather, and delicious delicacies 🍮 Five Gault Millau chefs from different hotels in Grindelwald created amazing dishes during today’s live show cooking 🍽️

The program continues on Saturday and Sunday, including an exciting cooking duel and a final brunch on Sunday ⛰️

It’s almost time: The Top Taste of Grindelwald Alpine Excellence Food Festival is coming up 🍽️
It's happening in Grindelwald from May 29–31 ⛰️ https://tasteofgrindelwald.ch/

This is the program:

Day 1, May 29: Opening event at Bergwelt Grindelwald with showcooking and musical accompaniment 🎷
Day 2, May 30: Cooking duel at the Eiger Glacier including a ride on the Eiger Express, wine & street food on the terrace of the Hotel Fiescherblick, wine master class at the Cork Club and Top Taste dinners in the evening ☀️
Day 3, May 31: Champagne brunch closing event at the Schweizerhof Hotel 🍾

That is why we have taken the time to introduce our guests to the rules of behavior in Grindelwald’s natural surroundings. These animated videos will help us protect the village so that it can continue to exist in its beauty for a long time to come 🏔️

We kindly ask you to respect peoples private properties and over all privacy 🚫🏡

This includes taking close-up pictures of houses & their inhabitants, entering private gardens and using exclusive paths leading to homes. You wouldn‘t want a stranger stepping into your house either, right? 🥾

It's time to clean up 🧼
On June 14, the Clean-Up Tour will make a stop at Grindelwald First - Top of Adventure ⛰️ We need to clean up all the trash that ended up on the mountain this winter, whether it was left there on purpose or not 🗑️ https://bit.ly/CleanUpTour26

This is a small way of giving back to nature for all it has given us 🌎
If you’re interested in helping to free our beautiful mountains from trash, you can sign up by June 11 at 12 pm 📝

You’ll receive all the necessary supplies for the cleanup—like gloves and trash bags—as well as tickets for the gondola on-site, plus a packed lunch so you don’t go hungry 🥨

This weekend of May 30+31, the Grindelwald Sledding and Tobogganing Club is inviting you to a trial course 🛷

On Saturday starting at 4 pm and on Sunday starting at 9.30 am, you can go street tobogganing on Bussalpstrasse alongside the pros ⛰️ The courses are free and will only take place if the weather is nice ☀️
A ski helmet and a little courage are all you need ⛑️
