Are you ready for a mountain hut adventure? 🏡
The Glecksteinhütte is about 2 hours and 45 minutes from the “Abzweigung Glecksteinhütte” bus stop and 3.5 hours from the “Oberer Gletscher” bus stop 🚌 https://bit.ly/Glecksteinhut24

The hike requires very good footwork and is recommended only for those who aren’t afraid of heights ☁️ The trail is often narrow and secured with wire ropes in exposed sections ⛰️
At the top, not only do an incredible view, mountain delicacies, and possible encounters with ibex await you, but also a bed that you can book in advance if you want to catch the sunset and sunrise ☀️

We're guests on their mountains 🐄 We know how much you love cows (just as much as we do) but please remember that you must behave appropriately around them ⛰️

- Cows are naturally friendly animals, but they may feel threatened by sudden movements or if you get too close 🐮
- Mother cows, in particular, are very protective, and calves should not be touched or fed 🌿
- If you are hiking with dogs, keep them on a short leash or avoid open pastures with cows 🐕
- Don't step on the tall grass (it's their food) 🌱

Please remember that these animals are an important part of agriculture and history and are not meant to be entertainment ☀️

The Romantic Trail from Männlichen to Kleine Scheidegg takes around 2 hours and covers approximately 7.3 km 📉 Along the way, you’ll pass alpine meadows filled with anemones, globeflowers, gentians and alpine roses 🌼 And all the while, you’ll enjoy impressive views of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau 🏔️ Make sure to plan enough time to enjoy the scenery along the way 🎒

🇨🇭🚂¡LA ESTACIÓN DE TREN MÁS ALTA DE EUROPA!

👌🏻En nuestro a viaje a Suiza no podía faltar esta excursión. Es un imprescindible si visitas este país… poder pisar nieve en pleno agosto fue increíble.

👏🏻No es una excursión barata, pero merece la pena de principio a fin.

😍Durante el recorrido podrás visitar el palacio de hielo, la tienda de lindt más alta del mundo, varias terrazas en las que podrás pisar nieve. También tendrás zonas de tirolina…

👌🏻 We couldn’t skip this excursion on our trip to Switzerland. It’s a must-do if you visit the country... being able to walk on snow in the middle of August was incredible.

👏🏻 It’s not a cheap excursion, but it’s worth it from start to finish.

😍 During the visit, you can explore the Ice Palace, the world’s highest Lindt shop, and various terraces where you can walk on snow. There are also zip-lining areas...

In der neusten Folge des «Dorfgesprächs Grindelwald» führt die Reise nach Zürich. Zu Gast ist dieses Mal nicht ein Tourismusdirektor aus einer Bergregion, sondern einer aus der Stadt: Thomas Wüthrich, Direktor von Zürich Tourismus. Er ist in Grindelwald geboren und aufgewachsen und absolvierte seine Lehre bei Grindelwald Tourismus. Schon früh interessierte ihn, woher Gäste kommen, wie sie reisen und was andere Orte ausmacht 🌎

Mit Anfang 20 zog es ihn hinaus in die Welt: Vier Jahre lang war er als Flugbegleiter bei der Swissair unterwegs. Danach arbeitete er viele Jahre bei MCI in der internationalen Event- und Kongressbranche und lebte unter anderem in Stockholm und Deutschland. Später kehrte Thomas mit seiner Familie in die Schweiz zurück. Seit 2022 leitet er Zürich Tourismus, wo rund 80 Mitarbeitende sowie etwa 60 Tourguides tätig sind, die täglich zahlreiche Stadtführungen anbieten ℹ️

Im Gespräch erzählt Thomas, wie sich der Tourismus in Zürich verändert hat: Vor rund zehn Jahren kamen etwa 70 Prozent der Gäste geschäftlich und 30 Prozent privat nach Zürich – heute ist es beinahe umgekehrt. Welche Rolle dabei sogar Taylor Swift spielt, erfährst du in dieser Folge 💬
