The Food Tour Lake Brienz combines great food with a varied journey through the Lake Brienz region. From Interlaken, you’ll take the train🚆 to Brienz, continue by bus🚌 to Ballenberg, and later take the boat🚢 across the turquoise-blue Lake Brienz back to Interlaken💙.
In between, three culinary stops await: an aperitif, a delicious lunch, and a sweet finale🥂🍽️🍰.

A ride on the Brienz Rothorn Railway 🚂 feels like stepping into another time. Dating back to 1892, this historic steam railway has been climbing from Brienz towards the Rothorn for more than 130 years 🕰️.⁠
The journey takes around an hour and is an experience in itself. The train winds its way steeply uphill⛰️, passing traditional Swiss wooden chalets 🏡, disappearing into tunnels and travelling through fairytale like alpine meadows🌿🌼where cows and goats graze 🐄🐐. And then there are the views: turquoise Lake Brienz far below 💙, surrounded by some seriously impressive mountain peaks.⁠
It is one of those journeys where the ride itself becomes the highlight.⁠

🎟️ Good to know: Be sure to book your ticket and seat reservation online in advance. If the train is fully booked, you may not be able to travel up at all.⁠

🇨🇭 What a way to celebrate Swiss National Day! ❤️✨
From the traditional celebration in the Kursaalgarden with free drinks 🥂, to the amazing „Hola“ Day Dance 🎶💃, the festive parade through Interlaken 🐎🎺, and an unforgettable grand finale with the once in a lifetime drone show „Interlaken SkyMagic“ ✨🌌, it was a day filled with incredible moments, unforgettable memories and amazing energy.
