Waldorf Astoria London - Admiralty Arch is moving closer to opening, with reservations now available for stays from March 2027.

For Palates & Miles, this is one of London’s most significant forthcoming hotel openings. Not simply because of the brand, but because Admiralty Arch is a national landmark being turned into a place to stay, dine and gather.

With 114 rooms, suites and residences, restaurants from Clare Smyth and Daniel Boulud, and a position on The Mall opposite Buckingham Palace, this is a project firmly on our radar.

Our latest Edit follows a practical afternoon route through Zadar’s Old Town.

The route begins around the Roman Forum and St Donatus Church before continuing to St Anastasia’s Cathedral, Široka ulica, Queen Jelena Madijevka Park and Bedemi zadarskih pobuna.

It is designed for those visiting Zadar as part of a wider Croatia itinerary, those spending one night in the city or those wanting a clear way to see the key parts of the Old Town in one afternoon.

One of Venice’s best rooftop aperitivo spots?

Hotel Gabrielli’s rooftop terrace combines panoramic lagoon views with one of the city’s most enjoyable aperitivo settings. Looking across to San Giorgio Maggiore, it’s a place designed for slowing down rather than rushing to the next landmark.
