Humpback whales can be seen on Reunion Island during the austral winter, from June to October. Humpbacks are sexually mature at 5–15 years, depending on the population. They may live for over 50 years.[15] The oldest recorded living humpback whale was 95 years old.

The wing of the B17 Flying Fortress. Interesting to know that the wingspan (wing length from tip to tip) is 31.62 meters)and a total aircraft length is 22.68 meters.
Sunk on November 6, 1944, after heavy flak damage, it is regarded as one of the most intact underwater aircraft wrecks globally.
Lies to the southern coast of Vis Island, Croatia near Cape Polivalo.

Palinurus elephas is a spiny lobster, which is commonly caught in the Mediterranean Sea. Its common names include European spiny lobster, crayfish or cray, common spiny lobster, Mediterranean lobster and red lobster.

It lives on rocky exposed coasts below the intertidal zone, mainly at depths of 5 to 150 metres.

Red lobsters may reach up to 60 cm (24 in) long, although rarely longer than 40 cm, and usually 25–30 cm. Few achieve their maximum weight of several kilograms.

Leaving the vibrant, tropical-like waters of Vis (Croatia) behind. Taking this stunning cloud of Anthias with me in my mind! 🌊✨
Anthias anthias occurs from 15 to 200 metres in depth. This species is a protogynous hermaphrodite, all individuals hatch as females.
The majority are female throughout their lives and even a large school of these fish will contain only a few males.

Today there was a new pilot on the B-24 “Tulsamerican”. The Consolidated B-24 Liberator, a WWII American bomber, lies on the southern coast seabed of Vis Island (Croatia), between 38–42 meters. An absolute must-see for everybody.
