We’re going to BALI 🌴📚✨

Six days tucked away in the jungle just outside Ubud, where your biggest decision of the morning might be pool or book? (Correct answer: both.)

We’ll be staying at the incredible Bedulu Cliff Estate, surrounded by tropical gardens, sweeping valley views and plenty of dreamy corners to disappear into with your latest read.

And when we’re not reading? Waterfalls and rice terraces, ancient temples, an Indonesian cooking class, traditional Balinese dance and a beautiful Canang Sari and Melukat purification ceremony.

There’ll be long lunches, poolside chapters, dinners under the stars, our famous book swap, plenty of time to do absolutely nothing… and a group of women who’ll probably feel like old friends by day two.

Pour the midnight margaritas. The witches are back. 🕯️

Nearly 30 years after Practical Magic gave us the Owens sisters, black cats, love spells and one of the most iconic witchy houses in cinema, we’re heading back to where it all began.

Join the LWL coven in Greenwich for a special evening of drinks, mingling and all things Practical Magic. Come early to meet your fellow Ladies Who Lit community, make new friends, settle in with your favourite bookish women and get into the witchy spirit before we head into a private screening afterwards.

Because some films are best watched together - especially the ones that made us want to become witches in the first place. 🔮

Ladies Who Lit® Book Club is officially on 5 continents 🤯 thanks to such an incredible community of women coming together over a shared love of books and carving out time for themselves, we’re now able to reach more corners of the globe and discover new, incredible locations. We can’t wait to see what the next few years will bring ❤️

We’ve been brewing something rather special, and now it’s time to let you in on it. Expect a night of books, mystery and a little seasonal mischief, with tarot, circus performers, wine, cocktails, a spooky book swap, an interactive murder mystery and plenty of prizes up for grabs.

Our Bodrum Reading Retreat is four nights of slow living on Turkey’s beautiful coast - with a private seafront villa, turquoise-water swims, village adventures, a Turkish cooking class and a day sailing the Aegean by gulet.

Plus, of course, plenty of time to do absolutely nothing but read.

Honestly, we can’t think of a better way to spend four days.
