In preparation for the Oberammergau Passion Play 2022 tour season we are proud to have welcomed a Familiarization Group from Educantional Opportunities USA to Germany and Austria.

The goal was to have them experience a part of the tour, hotels and attractions that their groups will see and experience in 2022. I believe everyone will go back with good memories to share those back home.

We would like to thank our local and international partners for helping to make this possible.

The cancellation of the Oberammergau Passion Play 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic is a tragedy.

We have been working so hard on this project for the past 3 years but it is understandable that the health of 500,000 guest has top priority.

We hope to be back in 2022

The 42nd Oberammergau Passion Play will be postponed due to the current situation caused by the corona pandemic. The basis for this is a decision of the district administration of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, which prohibits the performance of the event planned from 16.05.2020 to 04.10.2020. The health of our guests and participants is our highest priority, therefore the responsible persons have decided to postpone the premiere of the Passion Play, which was planned for 16 May 2020, until 2022. The premiere is now scheduled for May 21, 2022.
The health of the population is a top priority for the community of Oberammergau and the directing team around Christian Stückl as well. The Corona pandemic has made it impossible to complete this year's play without endangering the performers and guests. Furthermore, the perspective for this year is unclear. A postponement of only a few months seemed unacceptable to everyone involved.
Two options are offered for the reimbursement of tickets and arrangements already purchased: Presumably from April 6, reservations for this year's performances can be converted into a reservation for 2022. Another possibility is to cancel tickets and arrangements. In this case you will receive a refund of the purchase price. Please fill out the form (PDF-Download).

The people in Oberammergau are hard at work for this year’s Passion Play. They are designing stage pictures, costumes and props while the actors and the musicians are rehearsing.

Requirements
Excellent computer skills MS office Excel, Word, Google
Excellent English and German skills verbal and writing
Pleasant and reliable personality
Able to work under pressure over several months period
Experience in the tour operating business is an advantage but not requirement

Manage and coordinate our group arrivals at Munich airport Mid-May to End-Sep 2020 (part time)

You will work with our tour guides and bus drivers at the airport, distribute tour documents, welcome groups as they arrive, coordinate buses, take care of lost luggage, handle late arriving passengers
