HyperBoost. Spectrum. Incognito. DynaBoost. SubZero Hop Kief.

If you’ve seen those names on an IPA can and thought, “Cool… but what the hell are they actually doing in there?” - this one’s for you.

Our chief hop head Wesley | Beer, Travel & Sometimes Coffee wrote about one of his favorite topics for the new Swiss Beer Tours blog post: liquid hops.

We look at why brewers are using them, where they go into the brewing process, what they can do better than traditional pellets, where they can go wrong, and why T90 and Cryo definitely aren’t disappearing anytime soon.

Because yes, liquid hops can mean bigger aroma, better yield and less green sludge at the bottom of the tank.

But they’re also not a magic MAKE IPA BETTER button.

We compare some of the biggest products around right now, including HyperBoost, Spectrum, Incognito, DynaBoost and SubZero Hop Kief.
