A group of 60 women and children just a bit north of Futaleufu just finished a 5 day protest horseback ride to express their displeasure with the proposed dams on the Rios Puelo y Manso. The group is called "Women Without Borders" and is made up of Chileans, Argentinians, and Mapuche. The Argentinians have a stake in this because both rivers (and the Futaleufu) start in Argentina and then flow into Chile.
