A few more photos from my recent trip to Chile. Here are pictures from the Sierra Nevada and Antuco volcanoes. We didn't climb to the summit for various reasons but absolutely enjoyed the sunny days and beautiful views.

Llaima was definitely one of the highlights of this journey. Perfect weather, good climb, classic . And breathtaking views from the summit, of course.
Tomorrow we plan to climb Antuco, our last goal.

Today was another classic Chilean object - Lonquimay. A fantastic bluebird day, endless views from the summit and , what else do you need for a perfect Sunday?

This year's in Chile requires some effort and motivation. However, once you get up there, you will be rewarded with excellent and breathtaking vistas.

Sunny and fun day of Chilean classic - Villarrica, also known as Rucapillán, a Mapuche word meaning "great spirit's house."

In the second photo, you can see Quetrupillán, which we skied yesterday, alongside Lanin, which we plan to ski one day.

The third photo features the volcanoes Llaima, Lonquimay, and Sierra Nevada from left to right. Tomorrow, we are heading in that direction.

The last two days have been quite busy with some amazing Chilean volcano skiing. We made our first turns of the season on Quetrupillán, a fantastic volcano that offers a scenic approach and breathtaking views from the summit.

In the first photo, you can see Llaima volcano, in the third photo is the giant Lanin, and in the sixth photo is Villarrica, which we skied the following day. The rest are Quetrupillán.

It’s such a pleasure to be back skiing, especially on volcanoes!

Lanin Volcano is a stunning classic stratovolcano, standing at an impressive height of 3,747 meters. An iconic destination for ski mountaineering. I plan to climb and ski it after completing the standard program, offering an additional challenge for strong and motivated skiers (snowboarders are welcome too 😉). Additionally, all the other volcanoes in the program are excellent skiing options as well.

Continuing with the last publication.
After steep skiing on the western part, we climbed to the ridge top and skied down to the other side of the massif. This was the trickiest part of the entire expedition. It involved difficult navigation on a big face with numerous tiny couloirs, some leading into cliffs and "no fall" zones with very high consequences. But, we made it.
The first photo shows me texting our dispatcher back in town right after the descent. The second shows this part of the Ganalskie Vostryaki massif—try zooming in to find two tents in the lower left corner to get an idea of the scale.
