HALF DAY RIDE 🌿
3 hours on horseback, starting from the ranch and winding our way down quiet roads, through the forest towards the river.
We’ll stop beside the water for a little snack, with views across to the mighty Volcán Villarrica. 🌋
A relaxed introduction to the landscapes, horses and Chilean riding style that make Rancho Carhuello special.
Approximately half of the route follows quiet roads, with the rest taking us through forest and riverside trails.
Perfect for a taste of ranch life without committing to the full adventure. 🐎
4 DAYS • HUEQUEHUE NATIONAL PARK 🌋🌲
Four days of riding deep into the mountains of southern Chile.
After a first day getting to know your horse around the ranch, we head into Huerquehue National Park - riding through ancient Valdivian forests, crossing rivers, climbing into the mountains and finishing the days beside natural hot springs and remote lakes.
We camp beside the thermal waters, cook over the fire on the shores of Lake Caburgua and ride our mountain horses through ever-changing landscapes.
Then it’s back to the ranch for a farewell dinner, tired legs and four days of memories.
This is more than a trail ride. It’s four days of living with the horses and exploring the mountains. 🐎🏕️
5 DAYS • HUEQUEHUE + VOLCANO 🌋
Everything we love about the 4-day mountain ride, with one extra adventure.
After riding into Huerquehue National Park, crossing rivers, exploring ancient forests and camping beside natural hot springs, we take an extra day to head towards the base camp of Volcán Sollipulli.
Horseback, mountains, volcanoes and nights under the stars and with a little more time to disappear into the wild.
