Shower renovations in Dome Rio Suites with improvement and beautify mindset. The old showers had issues. Getting the hot water to work was like changing gears from reverse to third. And there were so many k***s the thing would sq**rt you in the face or chest. It was small and just a bad unit. New showers with square and bigger unit provide more room. Veleida loved the tiling from the loft domes so we upgraded that too. Doors function better. I told the plumber two k***s: red and blue. Old units are getting donated to the workers. Monday morning sunny day ready, set, go: river activity center bathrooms, changing rooms and treehouse shower framing and roofing. Septic 93% in place. Pooch giving moral support. Volcano shot from Sunday drive up volcano road after two weeks of rainings. Looks like three more days of sunshine with plenty of the proverbial hay to get in the barn.

Pucón doesn’t get much snow at just 750 feet elevation. Yet the Volcan 9,340 feet and surrounding Andes get plenty. Did a winter stroll for the rare pics. Read captions... details.

Luxury to economical group lodgings: 45+ beds means the retreat has an option for your individual or group needs. This week partner Katey Neuffer asked for pics of Pucon Kayak Retreat's lodgings. The past few years the retreat leveled up from a budget hostel to retreat status by investing in premium riverside suites, therapeutic recovery mattresses and private riverside decks, lodging renovations... and we kept the economical treehouse dorm and camping options for the groups too.
