🌎 Honoring the environment is a continuous commitment that is born from the heart and love for our home. It requires the collaboration of individuals, communities, companies and governments to care for the sustainability and health of our planet Earth.

🌱 Nature has a positive effect on us. Most of us recognize that we immediately feel calm and relaxed when we enter the forest. But there is a difference between being in nature with a clear goal or purpose (reaching a summit, talking with a friend, to be back by 4 etc.) and being in nature simply just to be.

🌱 On our new half-day experience: Slow & Sensory Hike we use our senses to bring our attention to the here and now, and aim to slow down the train of thoughts. The experience is inspired by the Japanese Shinrin Yoku or forest bathing, that is known for the scientifically proven health benefits that the forest atmosphere provides on our physical, emotional and mental health.

🌱 It is the perfect way to get into vacation mode, to get to know Patagonia deep down - and taking really good care of yourself at the same time.

In September Torres del Paine in Chilean Patagonia will host the ATTA (Adventure Travel Trade Association) Adventure Next Summit.

DEFY Patagonia takes part as a delegate in this three-day networking event with international buyers and media as well as local suppliers.

What is DEFY´s Pitch? We offer deep nature connections, from expedition style trekking to leisurely strolls, with own logistic and nordic-inspired trail food based on local produce and circular economy.
