It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jaime Maynard Durandeau (1952–2025), one of our most dedicated and experienced travelArt guides.

For over 20 years, Jaime led our tours across Chile, specializing in Patagonia, and became a true ambassador of the region. His passion and extensive knowledge left an indelible mark on all those who had the privilege of working alongside him.

Jaime was not only an exceptional guide but also a tireless advocate for the professionalization of tourism, working relentlessly to improve the field for the benefit of his colleagues. His remarkable career was recently recognized by Sernatur Magallanes, a fitting tribute to his dedication to the southern Chilean region.

His passing leaves a deep void, and as a team, we extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends.

Rest in peace, dear Jaime. Your legacy will continue to inspire us all.

🐋 WHALES CAPTIVATE TOURISTS IN THE NORTH 🌊
