Wild Tracks Moto – Explorers Beta Ride • Day 5 & 6
Puyuhuapi → Seis Lagunas, Valle de Simpson
From the deep greens of Puyuhuapi to the blue-mirrors of the Seis Lagunas — these were two days that reminded us why Patagonia gets under your skin and never lets go.
We carved our way along the legendary Carretera Austral, stopped beneath the thundering Ventisquero Colgante glacier, and crossed the high passes of Parque Nacional Queulat where mist, mountains and rainforest melt into one wild symphony.
After a full day of riding, we rolled into Puerto Aysén and went exploring… including the ghostly old shipwreck Viña del Mar.
The challenge of the day: invent the best story about why that ship sank.
And oh boy, the campfire storytelling did not disappoint.
That night, in our little cabin with the fire crackling, Chilean wine flowing, and the Patagonia night wrapping around us — imagination took over.
Tall tales, wild theories, laughter until late… exactly what an explorers ride should feel like.
From the road to the fireside — pure Wild Tracks magic.
