In march 2020, U.N. human rights spokesman, Rupert Colville, called for impartial investigation on 25 people ambushed on February 14, 2020, but was blocked by Cameroon government. He emphasisd that witnesses confirmed about 40 armed men and members of the security and defense forces attacked the village killed 25 people including kids.

On December 22, 2018 a little Southern Cameroonian named Yvone died in one of the refugee camps in Nigeria. Yvone was one of the kids born in the camp. Her parent fled their home(Mamfe, Meme county)to neighbouring Nigeria due to war declared in Southern Cameroons by Paul Biya on November 30, 2017.

Their home was among 100+ homes that were burnt in mamfe by cameroon military. Her mom was pregnant prior their arrival at refugee camp. The people of Southern Cameroons will live to remember the suffering you went through in the camp before passing away. You and many others remain our heroes. Bye bye

On Friday in the early hours of December 21, 2018 in Teke, one of the famous and braved ground fighters in the name of General Ivo was assassinated by unknown gunmen, though the BIR of LRC gunmen claimed responsibility of his assassination. Many Southern Cameroons Ambazonians haven't still known who carried out this malicious act.
