Mount Tai, also known as Dai Mountain, Daizong Mountain, Daiyue Mountain, Dongyue Mountain and Taiyue Mountain, is one of the five great mountains. It is located in the central part of Shandong Province, stretching between the cities of Tai 'an, Jinan and Zibo, with a total area of 24,200 hectares. The main peak, Yuhuangding, is 1532.7 meters above sea level
Mount Tai was regarded by the ancients as a heaven "directly connected to the emperor", and became a sacred mountain for people to worship and emperors to offer sacrifices. Leshan Giant Buddha, also known as Lingyun Giant Buddha, is located at the Lingyun Temple on the east bank of South Minjiang River in Leshan City, Sichuan Province. It is near the confluence of Dadu River, Qingyi River and Minjiang River. The giant Buddha is a seated statue of Maitreya, with a total height of 71 meters. It is the largest one of the cliff carved statues in China.

The Leshan Giant Buddha was excavated in the first year of Kaiyuan (713 A.D) of the Tang Dynasty and completed in the 19th year of Zhenyuan (803 A.D), lasting about 90 years.
The Leshan Giant Buddha is a Maitreya Buddha. The Tang Dynasty worshipped Maitreya Buddha. The Buddhist scriptures said that the birth of Maitreya would bring "peace to the world". During the Wu Zhou Dynasty, Empress Wu Zetian ordered the creation of the Great Yun Sutra, which proved that she was the reincarnation of Maitreya. The worship of Maitreya helped her rise to the throne in the feudal era when women were inferior to men. As a result of Wu Zetian's vigorously advocate, make the national model chisel Maitreya's wind big line.
