Mount Kailash Kora Guide | What Is the 3-Day Kora Like?
The Mount Kailash Kora is one of the world's most famous pilgrimage routes, attracting thousands of pilgrims and trekkers every year.

📍 Total Distance: Approximately 52 km
⛰ Highest Point: Drolma La Pass (5,650 m)

Day 1 Darchen → Dirapuk Monastery (Approx. 20 km)

A relatively gentle trek with spectacular views of the north face of Mount Kailash. Most travelers spend the first night at Dirapuk Monastery (5,210 m).

Day 2 Dirapuk → Drolma La Pass → Zutulpuk Monastery (Approx. 22 km)

The most challenging and rewarding day.

You'll cross Drolma La Pass (5,650 m)—the highest point of the kora—and pass the sacred Gauri Kund before descending to Zutulpuk Monastery.

Day 3 Zutulpuk → Darchen (Approx. 10 km)

An easier walk back to Darchen, completing one full circuit around the sacred mountain.
