Final Show In Ostrava ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฟ | EP.8

In Episode 8, we experience our final performance in Ostrava as part of this incredible international cultural journey with Team Spandan.

For our final show, we perform at the historic Vรญtkovice industrial complex in Ostrava, a remarkable site connected to the city's long history of coal mining, coke production and ironmaking.

The Dolnรญ Vรญtkovice complex dates back to the 19th century. The first coke furnace was ignited here in 1836, and the site became an important centre of industrial production. After 162 years of pig-iron production, the final tapping took place in 1998. Today, the former industrial complex has been transformed into a cultural and educational destination while preserving its historic industrial structures.

It was an incredible experience to perform in such a unique and historic industrial setting.

It was an emotional and unforgettable way to finish our Ostrava chapter โ€” sharing the stage, music, dance and culture with artists from different countries. ๐ŸŒ๐ŸŽถ

A special thank you to Yonash and Barbora, our wonderful festival guides in Ostrava, for their support, guidance, and for helping make this experience so memorable. โค๏ธ

There were also moments after the show when I was simply talking, interacting and saying goodbye to performers from the other countries. I didn't record those moments.

And honestly, sometimes living in the moment is more important than recording it. โค๏ธ

Not every memory needs to be captured on camera. Some moments are meant to be experienced, felt and remembered.

Exploring Multi Culture In Ostrava ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฟ | EP. 6

In Episode 6, we have another amazing show in Ostrava, Czech Republic, where Team Spandan comes together with folk artists from Hungary ๐Ÿ‡ญ๐Ÿ‡บ, Serbia ๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡ธ, Czech Republic ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฟ, Poland ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ฑ and Mexico ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡ฝ.

It was a beautiful celebration of different cultures, traditions, music and dance โ€” all coming together on one stage.

Along with the performances, we also take part in a small cultural workshop and gathering, where artists from different countries teach each other their traditional dances, music and cultural practices.

We get the chance to learn new dance forms, experience different musical traditions, share our own Indian folk culture, and connect with people from around the world.

This is what makes cultural exchange so special โ€” different countries, different traditions, but one shared love for music, dance and culture. โค๏ธ๐ŸŒ

In Episode 5, we travel by train to Ostrava, one of the major cities in the Czech Republic, for the next part of our cultural journey with Team Spandan.

The final day of the Domaลพlice Festival! ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐ŸŽญ

In Episode 4, we experience the final show of the Domaลพlice Festival with Team Spandan and celebrate the end of our first festival experience in the Czech Republic.

We also explore one of the most beautiful viewpoints in Domaลพlice โ€” the historic castle tower, where we get an incredible panoramic view of the town and its surroundings. ๐Ÿฐ๐ŸŒ„

One thing that really surprised us was seeing how quickly the town was cleaned and restored to normal after the festival. As soon as the celebrations ended, the streets and public spaces were cleaned and the town quickly returned to its peaceful everyday atmosphere.

As evening arrives, we explore the European evening vibes of Domaลพlice, walk through the beautiful streets, enjoy the atmosphere of the town, and experience a completely different side of Czech life.

We also share a little about the weather and our experience of the Czech summer during this part of the journey. ๐ŸŒค๏ธ

In Episode 3, we perform our first show in the Czech Republic with Team Spandan, joining a local Czech folk group in the town of Domaลพlice.

First Day in Czech Republic ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฟ | Exploring Historic Domaลพlice, Festival & Indian Food | EP. 2

In Episode 2, we begin our journey in Domaลพlice, a historic town in the Plzeลˆ Region of western Czechia, close to the German border.

Domaลพlice has a history dating back to the 13th century and developed as an important town along medieval trade routes. The town is known for its beautiful historic centre, traditional architecture, colourful buildings, and strong connection to Chod folk culture and traditions.

Our visit to Domaลพlice is especially exciting because we arrive during the Domaลพlice Festival, a celebration deeply connected with the town's folk traditions and cultural heritage.

During our first day, we explore the charming streets of Domaลพlice, discover its historic surroundings, visit the Domaลพlice Museum, experience the festival atmosphere, and even enjoy some Indian food.
