This year, our first Summer Heritage Tours to China has come to an end. Over the past days, families revisitedplaces filled with memories, met the people who were once part of their stories, and creatednew memories together in China.

June 19, the fifth day of the fifth lunar month, is the in China.

Across many regions, fresh mugwort is hung at doorways as a traditional wish for health and protection.

In communities and homes, people gather to wrap zongzi, make handmade fragrance sachets, and children wear colorful five-color bracelets as small seasonal blessings. As the day ends, families sit down for a reunion meal.

These small moments are what keep the festival meaningful from generation to generation.
