Aleu and Takaten have just left Pegasus Cycling this morning. Aleu used to ask me, why most Chinese look serious, but people of Southeast Asia always smile. I asked this question to my Chinese friends, these are some answers:
1. Chinese have to pay for a lot of bill.
2. Most Chinese don't have religion.
3. Chinese only smile to familiar person, otherwise will be thought as a carzy guy.
4. Most Chinese are too busy to smile.
5.Chinese have a lot of desires, always not satisfied with their living condition.

Biking from the gorgeous Rice Terrace to the wonderful Rain forest part 2
From The Rice Terrace of Yuan yang to Lv Chun, the mountains are covered by green forest or banana trees, You will get free bananas if you are lucky :). Beautiful flowers and rivers also stay alongside your road.
Almost all cars take another road, so you can seldom meet a car on this road. It seems only foreigners bike on this road, so you will get much “Hello” from the villagers and kids you meet.
After you reach Lv Chun, You will find the city is on a mountain, there is only one main street which goes up and down quite steeply, almost 90% of citizen live alongside this street. Most people in this city are Hani minority, some women still wear their traditional clothes. If you arrive on the traditional festival of Hani, you will see how they enjoy their lives from the dinner, clothes and dancing.
It is the new year of the Hani minority of Lv Chun on each 30th Nov, the government holds a “Banquet in the long street” along the main road of Lv Chun. During the festival in 2015, almost all traffic was forbidden during the day of the banquet, there were almost 4000 tables in the street and the total length of the tables was almost 4 km!
By the way, Lv Chun in Chinese language sounds like “Six village”, which was the orientation of city’s name. The first Prime Minister of PRC, Zhou Enlai changed the town name to “Green Spring”. Whilst biking through this area, you will see just how smart this Prime Minister was!

Biking from the gorgeous Rice Terrace to the wonderful Rain forest part1
The Rice Terrace of Yuan yang is one of the most gorgeous Rice Terraces in China, it was once the great farming job of Hani minority. It is famous as one of the most beautiful places in Yunnan Province of China.
It’s a shame You have to buy ticket to enter this area now, but it’s still worth paying about ￥100 to have a look. Most tourists visit here by bus so it will be more shocking for you to see it by bicycle.
After passing the Qing Kou Terrace and Ba Da Terrace, you will get to Duo Yi shu Terrace. You can stay here for a night and the next morning you can see the amazing sunrise from the terrace. By the way, there are quite a lot of hotels here, you can even find a hostel of YHA, where you can get English service.(http://www.yhachina.com/ls.php?id=338&hostID=2)

Hey guys, We have nice touring bikes rentals for your trip in Yunnan of China, with quite strong panniers. The bike in photo is LKLM brand of China, with 27 speed gears and Schwalbe tires. The pannier is LKLM too, water proof and strong, and one bag is big enough for 2 week trip.
We can also provide helmet, toolkit, map with reasonable price, and information for free.
