We had an amazing experience travelling through Tibet organized by Mr. Tenzin, with Gesang as our Guide and Lakba as our driver. Tenzin who met us in Chengdu to handover our Tibet permit, walked us through the entire itinerary very well.
We spent two days in Lhasa before road-tripping all the way to Everest Base Camp, where we were then dropped off at the Nepal border for a smooth onward journey.
Lakba was an excellent driver he drove smoothly and safely throughout the trip and always made sure we reached each destination comfortably and on time.
Gesang was with us for the entire week and was incredibly knowledgeable. He taught us so much about Tibetan history, culture, and Buddhist traditions, especially at the monasteries we visited. He explained the meaning behind the rituals, prayer flags, prayer wheels, and Buddhist symbols, which made each visit much more meaningful. He also recommended great places to visit and eat in the evenings that suited us perfectly.
Overall, everything was very well organised, and Gesang and Lakba made the entire journey comfortable, enjoyable, and memorable. We would highly recommend them for anyone travelling through Tibet!
