A new 80,000-seat stadium is taking shape in Ningbo.
The main stadium of Phase II of the Ningbo Olympic Sports Center will cover around 200,000 square meters — roughly the size of 28 standard football pitches.
It will be China’s fourth mega-stadium in the 80,000-seat class, joining the Guangdong Olympic Stadium, Beijing’s Bird’s Nest and Hangzhou’s Big Lotus as one of the country’s largest stadiums.
