"While family are still the major targeted audience for Club Med, we will also come up with more diversified products for young couples, the silver citizens and the Generation Z consumers aged between 16 and 24," said Andrew Xu, CEO of Club Med in China in his interview with China Daily.

Club Med, a France-based premium all-inclusive resorts operator, expects its tourism villages in China to double before 2030 from the current seven nationwide as the booming tourism market in China is expected to further drive economic recovery in the world's second-largest economy.

Rumour has it, there’s something brewing on Egypt’s Mediterranean coast – arriving just in time for the summer ahead. Set to welcome guests from July 01, North Coast in Egypt is the newest laid-back luxe hotel to join the collection.

Flanked with palm trees and desert plants such as cacti and agaves, as well as a private white-sand beach only a stone’s throw away, the hotel’s 38 rooms open directly onto a dazzling salt-water lagoon. On the fringe of the water is an intimate outdoor lounge, bar and restaurant area offering ample shade – and ice-cold cocktails – underneath wooden pergolas.

In signature style, the décor throughout the hotel is pared-back but modern, complimented with sisal interiors and neutral linens and furnished with sleek tables and teak chairs, woven lamps, handmade pottery and palm leaf baskets — all handmade by local artisans using traditional and sustainable methods.
