Spring Festival Tropical Holiday Getaway Jan 28 - Feb 1

Winter cycling on China's mainland is difficult , as weather and air pollutions pose the first problems. Solution...China's Hawaii - 'Hainan Island - less than 1 hour from Hong Kong .
It's a cyclist's dream with long open roads , climbs to 1400 meters, Mtb trails. This biking is the tropics with high elevation rain forests , quiet beaches and countless coconut , banana & pineapple plantations . All you need is an airplane ticket , helmet / cycle gear and a swim suit . This is some of Asia's best year around cycling , with excellent roads, scenery and culture.

Five years ago, a cyclist told me why don't you organize a group to cycle the Silk Road route ? That was indeed a great advice.
Since then, SISU organizes cycling tours every July from the green pasture land to the ancient Silk Road of Gobi Derset. It's also a great place to escape the
hot humid Shanghai summers.
2015 is no exception. We embarked our journey just before the annual Qinghai Lake International Race with a blue sky day.

Four days later I'm sitting in front of the computer trying to gather my thoughts about Tour de Bund charity ride.
It went extremely smooth with a super-duper blue sky, puffy clouds weather which is precious in Shanghai.
From about 100 participants the first year , 4 years later , more than 600 + people participated the event. What a accomplishment !!!
The goal is to attract riders and teams from local and foreign bicycle clubs and companies to come together, ride and promote healthy living,
raise awareness of carbon-free travelling and raise money for Raleigh China Charity.
