Zhuo Ma's Jiuzhaigou Home Stay Ours is the only authentic Tibetan Home-Stay in Jiuzhaigou. We are a yak herding and farming family who now run a home-stay and restaurant in Jiuzhaigou.

The only authentic Tibetan home stay in Jiuzhaigou. We are delighted to welcome you to our home in Jiuzhaigou County. We hope that you will agree that Shang Si Zhai Valley in which we live is one of the most beautiful valleys in the region. Myself, Zhuo Ma, and my br

other Ke Zhu grew up with our family in Shang Si Zhai Valley. I went to Beijing for 6 years where I learned to speak Chinese and Ke Zhu also spent 2 years there cooking. This is where we learned to speak putong hua (standard Chinese), until then we only spoke the local Tibetan dialect. We are both learning English and if you speak no Tibetan or Chinese that's no problem. Your chef, Ke Zhu has studied Tibetan cooking in Lhasa for 7 years and is also an accomplished Sichuan and Cantonese cook. His passion is for cooking the Tibetan food that we grew up eating high up here, in the Tibetan mountains of Northern Sichuan long before tourism arrived. We look forward to welcoming you to our home and introducing you to the real Jiuzhaigou.

Thank you for all of your messages of concern. We are all fine after the earthquake. It was a big shake but there does not seem to be much structural damage to buildings at this stage. We will post again when we know more.
