Like it or not, King's Joy became the first Michelin 3 Star restaurant with a Vegetarian-only menu with the release of Michelin Beijing Guide 2021 on Nov.16. China may not be the most vegetarian friendly country in the world but vegetarian fine dining scene always stand out thanks to Chinese wealthy's belief of buddasim/Zen and the popular idea of Yangsheng( Chinese idea of healthy living and diet ) . Another notbale Vegetarian fine dining restaurant is FU HE Hui in Shanghai with Michelin 1 Star. Ranking 20 in Asia's Best 50 , it stands above all restaurants from China mainland on the chart .

We had an amazing time hosting this event in cooperation with PFLAG National . Parents from the + community cooked homemade style Cantonese dinner for us and shared stories of how is like to be a parent of lgbt in China.
