Harvest 2021 at Klein Constntia was late this year because of the cold and summer rains. This meant it all happend very fast when the time was finally right. The 4am starts always take some getting used to at first. Only when you're busy finding the shots in the dark do you realise and appreciate how quickly the team work, harvesting all around you. Well done to all of them! As elways I enjoyed being there to capture some of the highlights.

Thanks for all the smiles! :) Shot and edited for this years harvest at Klein Constantia. One week into lock down it now feels like a lifetime ago. Without the ability to go out with my camera, feels like having lost an essential part of who I am. We're all in this together. Let's not forget, this too shall pass!

This year I had the incredible opportunity to join the team Klein Constantia during their 2019 harvest. When I asked what time I should be there on the first morning I was told 4:00am!
So the following morning coffee at 3:30am kick-started my day. 4 months later, and a huge amount of respect for the entire vineyard and cellar team, I was there for the final day of harvest. I've put together this video to show you some of that journey. Hope you enjoy!

Sometimes it's worth looking at your old photos again. This was from a trip to China a few years back. Even though the weather was miserable I love the moody feel of the images:) The natural rock spires reach over 200m in height!
