Twin Commander’s Turbine series, which includes the 690, 690A, and 690B, is a special group of the well respected Commanders. The Twin Commander 690B, specifically, is paired with two Honeywell TPE-331-5 engines with a full range of 820 nm. The 690B began flying in 1976 and is very similar to its older brother, the 690A. However, the 690B features increased weight ratings, different engine options, as well as better soundproofing and improved lavatory.
