🚢 Well, THIS is a Virgin Voyages announcement I’ve been waiting for…
Virgin Voyages is officially heading to Scandinavia, the Baltics & the Norwegian Fjords in Summer 2028 and there are some seriously good itineraries in this lineup.
Beginning July 2028, Valiant Lady will homeport in Amsterdam for a limited Northern Europe season featuring 6 new itineraries, 15 new ports, overnight stays and late nights in some fantastic European cities.
And yes… Virgin is finally going to NORWAY.🇳🇴 Having just returned from an epic vacation to this beautiful country, I highly recommend it
Here are a few itineraries that caught my attention:
🏔️ 7-Night Norwegian Fjords
Amsterdam • Molde • Nordfjordeid • Flåm • Bergen
🌌 11-Night Arctic Circle & Norwegian Fjords
Amsterdam • Bergen • Arctic Circle • Tromsø • Honningsvåg • Trondheim • Åndalsnes • Olden
This one takes Virgin farther north than they've EVER sailed — all the way to Honningsvåg at 71°N.
🇸🇪 12-Night Scandinavia & Stockholm
Amsterdam • Oslo • Copenhagen • Gdańsk • Stockholm • Berlin • Aarhus
PLUS an overnight in Stockholm and a late stay in Copenhagen.
🇩🇰 7-Night Scandinavia & Hamburg
Amsterdam • Oslo • Copenhagen • Hamburg
With late-night stays in both Copenhagen and Hamburg.
There are also 2 fantastic 10-night repositioning sailings between Barcelona and Amsterdam, visiting ports in Spain, Portugal, France and Morocco, including an overnight in Lisbon.
❤️ Virgin does Europe differently. The ships are
adults only, there are no traditional buffets or huge main dining rooms, and so much is already included in your cruise fare:
🍽️ 20+ restaurants with no specialty dining upcharges
📶 Wi-Fi
🧘 Group fitness classes
🥤 Sodas, still & sparkling water, tea and drip coffee
🎭 Entertainment
And one of my favorite things about Virgin's European itineraries: late stays and overnights that actually give you time to experience the destination instead of racing back to the ship at 4 PM.
📅 These new 2028 sailings go on sale Thursday, August 13. Please get on my list now!
With such a short Northern Europe season, some of these dates and cabin categories could go quickly once bookings open.
