aquel niño del campo llego a la ciudad con 14 años e inicio aquí en la Heroica su ultimo grado de Bachillerato y con la visión de un gran hombre mi padre Jairo, que en ese momento me inculco la importancia de una segunda lengua como el ingles en nuestras vidas, dándome de ejemplo familiares y allegados con el dominio de el idioma, a esa edad y aun estando en 11 grado de bachillerato inicie mis estudios en el Centro Colombo Americano donde a los 17 años me certifique como bilingüe y a los 18 después de un año de énfasis obtuve mi certificado como traductor en la misma institución. Ya siendo mayor de edad y con un excelente dominio del ingles trabaje en Museo de La Esmeralda de la Joyería Caribe donde tuve la oportunidad de desarrollar habilidades en manejo de grupo y Ventas al explicar la historia de nuestra piedra nacional en dicho lugar y venderla. la vida da vueltas y para ese tiempo tuve la fortuna e inicie en las Famosas Chivas Rumberas ( Buses Coloridos de Rumba ) donde era camarógrafo y debía grabar a el turista en los monumentos y dentro de la chiva. Ganaba comisiones por videos vendidos. Tocaba motivar a la gente a bailar y mandarle saludos a los familiares para que el video fuese llamativo para ellos y poderles vender. con mis habilidades ya conocidas en el idioma me di a conocer y a la edad de 20 años ya era Guía Fijo en Las Chivas Nocturnas y También en las diurnas que era principalmente con visitantes que venían en diferentes líneas de cruceros. actividad que hoy a los 32 años en 2025 aun Amo hacer. a los 23 años nace mi hijo Santiago e Inicio a estudiar Guíanza Turística de Forma Profesional en el SENA y también el idioma portugués, a los 26 años después de 3 años en este proceso y mostrando ante el comité del Concejo Nacional de Guías Profesionales de Turismo mis habilidades en los idiomas, cumplí con todos los requisitos y logre el objetivo de adquirir mi Tarjeta Profesional como Guía de Turismo. Ya estando de lleno en el turismo me fui a Vivir a el centro histórico, en Getsemaní donde ya me había dado a conocer por mi trabajo en las mencionadas chivas que finalizan el recorrido en este barrio. En el 2022 ya con una basta experiencia en todo lo relacionado con el turismo en mi ciudad decido fundar Cartagena4U Travel Agency para mostrar a todos los visitantes del mundo entero la belleza de nuestra región Caribe en Colombia de una forma honesta y segura. I want to begin these words by thanking God for having you here reading this paragraph; it means a lot to me. I am a 32-year-old man fortunate enough to be born in the beautiful city of Cartagena. Although my childhood was spent in the countryside in a magical town full of humble, hardworking people called Soplaviento Bolívar, at age 14, due to natural phenomena in that town, With my parents, and my younger brother, Brandon, we moved to Cartagena to start a new life. And so it was. That country boy came to the city at 14 years old and began his final year of high school here in the Heroic City. I was guided by the vision of a great man, my father Jairo, who instilled in me at that time the importance of a second language like English in our lives. He set an example for me, family and friends, with his mastery of the language. At that age, and still in junior year of high school, I began my studies at the Centro Colombo Americano (Colombian-American Center), where at 17 I became bilingual, and at 18, after a year of emphasis, I obtained my certificate as a translator from the same institution. With 18 years of age and with an excellent command of English, I worked at the Museo de La Esmeralda (Caribbean Jewelry Emerald Museum), where I had the opportunity to develop skills in group management and sales by explaining the history of our national gemstone there and selling it. Life takes turns, and around that time, I was fortunate enough to start working for the Famous Chivas Rumberas (Colorful Rumba Buses), where I was a cameraman and had to film tourists at the monuments and inside the chiva. I earned commissions for videos sold. I had to motivate people to dance and send greetings to family members so the video would be appealing to them and I could sell it to them. With my already well-known language skills, I made a name for myself, and by the age of 20, I was already a permanent guide for the Chivas at night, as well as for the daytime ones, which mainly involved visitors arriving on different cruise lines. I still love doing this activity today, in 2025 at the age of 32. At 23, my son Santiago was born, and I began studying professional tourist guiding at SENA (National Service for Tourism), as well as learning Portuguese. At 26, after three years of this process and demonstrating my language skills before the committee of the National Council of Professional Tourist Guides, I met all the requirements and achieved my goal of obtaining my Professional Tourist Guide Card. Already fully immersed in tourism, I went to live in the historic center, in Getsemaní, where I had already become known for my work on the aforementioned "chivas" (buses), which end their tours in this neighborhood. In 2022, with extensive experience in everything related to tourism in my city, I decided to found Cartagena4U Travel Agency to showcase the beauty of our Caribbean region in Colombia to visitors from all over the world in an honest and safe way. Este es el tour más alegre de la costa caribe y lo mejor es que el único requisito es querer pasar una noche inolvidable en la ciudad heroica.🥳 Entendiendo que es un tour colectivo, empezamos a recoger las reservas a las 7:15 pm en la ciudad antigua, para las personas que no estén hospedadas en la Zona de Bocagrande, Castillo Grande y/o Laguito que es la ciudad nueva. O para las personas que solo quieren ser los primeros y escoger a donde quieren ir dentro del bus. Los que estén en Bocagrande y Alrededores los recogemos entre las 7:30 pm y 8:00 pm. HAY UNA SEGUNDA SALIDA A LAS 9:20PM HASTA LAS 11PM DEBEN LLEGAR A UN PUNTO DE ENCUENTRO

Pasamos por Bocagrande, Centro, Getsemani, paramos en las botas antiguas y el castillo de San Felipe para una hermosa foto, ahí mismo hacemos baile de Champeta ritmo típico caribeño con el animador, luego damos la vuelta a la muralla de la parte externa no sin antes pasar por el hermoso monumento de la India Catalina y la antigua plaza de toros de la Serrezuela, luego nos dirigimos hacia el norte de la ciudad haciendo una parada en las letras gigantes de Cartagena para la foto del recuerdo, al final llegamos a Taboo una discoteca en Getsemaní, allí el que quiera quedarse está hasta las 3:00 AM. Y el que no quiera entrar lo dejamos en el punto donde lo recogimos antes de llegar a la discoteca. Duración: Alrededor de 2 horas, Estas empiezan en el momento que se recogen todas las reservas, nos demoramos unos 40 minutos en el proceso. Mientras escuchamos buena música 🎶

Chiva Party Bus Cartagena
This is the most exciting tour on the Caribbean coast, and the best part is that the only requirement is a desire to spend an unforgettable night in the heroic city. 🥳 Since this is a group tour, we start collecting reservations at 7:15 pm in the old city for those not staying in the Bocagrande, Castillo Grande, and/or Laguito areas, which is the new city. Or for those who just want to be the first to choose where they want to go on the bus. Those staying in Bocagrande and surrounding areas will be picked up between 7:30 pm and 8:00 pm. We pass through Bocagrande, Centro, and Getsemani, stopping at the old boots and San Felipe Castle for a beautiful photo. There, we dance Champeta to a typical Caribbean rhythm with the host. Then, we walk around the outer wall, but not before passing the beautiful monument of India Catalina and the old Serrezuela bullring. Then, we head north of the city, stopping at the giant Cartagena letters for a souvenir photo. Finally, we arrive at Taboo, a nightclub in Getsemani. Those who want to stay there can stay until 3:00 AM. Those who don't want to enter can be dropped off at the point where we picked them up before arriving at the club. Duration: Around 2 hours.
