From Montréal to Colombia 🇨🇦🇨🇴 This month, VAOVA joined a learning mission to Canada after winning the ProColombia Tourism Innovation Award, and we came back full of notebooks, new connections, and big ideas for the future of tourism.

What stayed with us most?
✨ Tourism grows stronger when communities, artists, local producers, and innovation move together.
✨ Heritage becomes more powerful when people can truly live it, not just look at it.
✨ Accessibility and sustainability are not extras. They shape better experiences for everyone.
And while we learned a lot from Montréal, sharing VAOVA’s art-and-culture-driven model in Colombia reminded us that what we are building here also has a place in global conversations.

Eight months ago, we submitted a story we deeply believed in. Last Friday, it took the stage on one of the biggest platforms in our industry 🏆✨

We won Excellence in Incentive Travel: Latin America & Caribbean at the SITE Crystal Awards for our program “Qualitas: A Tale Woven Between Cultures” 🌎

The ceremony took place in Abu Dhabi, and representing Colombia that far from home felt surreal 🇨🇴 Watching our country resonate in a room filled with global industry leaders is something we will carry with us forever.

“Qualitas” told the story of two sister cultures coming together to create something unprecedented. This award belongs to everyone who helped bring that vision to life. Thank you 🙏

Throwback to our last trip of 2025, a FAM Trip with 16 incredible Polish travelers who discovered Bogotá and Cartagena with us.

For five days, we shared our country during one of the most special times of the year, using the season as the perfect backdrop to show not just destinations, but connection. Polish Christmas traditions met Colombian festivities as we brought both cultures to the same table, sharing what may look different but feels the same: warmth, curiosity, and the kind of togetherness this season is all about 🕯️

So incredibly thankful for this journey ✨ Here’s to the bridges we build and the moments that remind us that home is everywhere we choose to open our hearts 🇵🇱🤝🇨🇴

What a way to close the year. ✨ Yesterday, VAOVA won a National Tourism Award in the Tourism Innovation category — the highest recognition in Colombia’s tourism industry, led by and — making us the first company to receive this honor three times. 🇨🇴🏆

And we earned it with “Quálitas: más allá del realismo y la magia,” the program where we brought together movement, local voices, culture, and everyday Colombian life in a way that still resonates today.
We showed that innovation is about elevating what’s already here. We privatized the Sabana Train and turned it into a moving cultural journey, brought the Metropolitan Ballet of Medellín to Bogotá for the first time, and transformed public plazas into cultural stations that made the city feel like all of the country in one place.

Grateful for this recognition, for our client’s trust in our vision, and for every partner who helps make moments like this possible. This milestone belongs to our team, and to everyone who believes in what we do. 💛💙❤️
