We had a fantastic time in the jungle with CRA! We did the 3 day nature tour, which was partly in Peru and partly Colombia but we also got to see a bit of Brazil on the last day too.
Hernando was a brilliant guide, we really appreciated his company and very knowledgable and friendly too. We had lots of laughs with him. We enjoyed seeing Leticia and then later Brazil on our last day too, thank you for including the lunch as an extra too - we resl appreciated it😍🍽️
For the tour, the first night with Juan Carlos was perfect- he made us feel so welcome in his community and we enjoyed being invited to ask permission to enter the jungle. He was so well informed and greeted us kindly, and we loved the trek through the jungle, especially wading though the river-logged parts! The time at the malloca was wonderful, we felt very spiritually connected with the place, and enjoyed the activities - making bracelets, trying mambe, swimming, the night walk. We saw lots of wildlife and enjoyed singing songs and hearing stories, and enjoyed tasty meals. As I was nervous for the night walk too, I appreciated how safe Juan Carlos and Hernando made me feel for this part.
The next stop at Marasha in Peru was also excellent, a change in vibe but really fun too. Our young guide for this part, (Killea?) was also very nice, talked less but kept us safe and showed us lots of wildlife too. We enjoyed having more room for the accommodation too, a whole dormitory for ourselves, as we slept very well in the hot weather and could dry our clothes. We enjoyed fishing and cayman spotting, kayaking and another night walk. The food was delicious too.
The third day we absolutely loved monkey island!! 🐵 What a wonderful place, we loved how tame the monkeys were.

We had a few leaks in our roof the third night but CRA have already said they will follow up on this with the third host on this tour.
