☕ Tour del Café en la Vereda La Arboleda 🌿

Nuestro recorrido comienza a las 11:00 a.m., cuando partimos hacia la finca de la familia Hernández, un encantador lugar rodeado de naturaleza y paisajes cafeteros. Al llegar, seremos recibidos con un almuerzo típico cocinado en fogón de leña, preparado con recetas tradicionales de la región —un verdadero sabor campesino que conecta con la esencia del campo colombiano.

A la 1:00 p.m., iniciaremos un recorrido por el cafetal, donde conocerás de cerca el proceso de cultivo: desde la siembra y el cuidado de las plantas hasta la cosecha del grano maduro. La familia anfitriona compartirá sus conocimientos y secretos sobre el arte de producir un café de calidad.

Para cerrar esta experiencia con broche de oro, a las 2:00 p.m. disfrutaremos juntos de una taza de café recién preparado, cultivado y tostado en la misma montaña, mientras contemplamos la vista y respiramos el aire puro del campo.

Our journey begins at 11:00 a.m., heading to the Hernández family farm, a charming spot nestled among lush coffee fields. Upon arrival, we’ll enjoy a traditional lunch cooked over a wood-fired stove, prepared with regional recipes that capture the true taste of the Colombian countryside.

At 1:00 p.m., we’ll take a guided walk through the coffee plantation, where you’ll learn about the fascinating process of coffee growing — from planting and nurturing the crops to harvesting the ripe beans. The local hosts will share their family knowledge and stories about the art of producing high-quality coffee.

Finally, at 2:00 p.m., we’ll relax and savor a freshly brewed mountain coffee, grown, roasted, and prepared right on the farm, while enjoying the breathtaking scenery and the calm atmosphere of rural life.

Our journey unfolds as we stroll to Metro Poblado station, ride to Metro Acevedo station, and ascend through the Parque Arví cable line, providing breathtaking views over mountains and forests until we reach Parque Arví.

Upon arrival, our associates will present horses for a scenic ride through Santa Elena's enchanting forests. Traverse ancient ruins of colonial settlements dating back over 400 years, and explore ancestral paths once tread by muleteers seeking a better future in San Lorenzo de Aburra. Immerse yourself in the rich history, from the first brewery to the birth of the first radio station in the Aburra Valley.

Witness the beauty of the landscape, including dense wet grass and pine tree-lined paths revealing the vast city below. Reach La Casa de la Raíz, a symbolic representation of Santa Elena's culture and mysticism. Experience the deep connection to nature, adventure, and the unpredictable weather factor.

The tour, scheduled from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm, starts at the Poblado church and concludes at the Arvi Park cable car station.
