When you visit Colombia, don’t only try the big traditional dishes — leave space for the sweet little things too. 🇨🇴🍬

Some Colombian sweets are simple, colorful, messy, nostalgic and honestly part of the experience.

You’ll find them in small shops, bakeries, street carts, local markets or maybe even as a snack someone gives you on the road.

They may not be fancy, but they say a lot about Colombia: the flavors, the childhood memories, the local traditions and the way food always becomes part of the story.

So when you come to Colombia, try a few. You might discover a new favorite.

Which Colombian sweet would you try first?

Comuna 13 is one of the most meaningful places to visit in Medellín. 🇨🇴

What was once known for difficult times has become a neighborhood full of art, music, local stories and powerful transformation.

During this experience, you walk through its colorful streets, learn about the graffiti movement at Casa Kolacho, create your own graffiti, ride the famous electric stairs and try a local favorite: mango ice cream.

But more than the murals and the views, this tour is about understanding the people, the history and the resilience behind one of Medellín’s most inspiring communities.

Comuna 13 is not just something to see — it’s a place to listen, learn and experience with respect.

Feria de las Flores is one of the most beautiful times to experience Medellín. 🌸🇨🇴

Every year, the city fills with flowers, music, traditions, parades and that joyful energy that makes Medellín feel so alive.

For us, some of the best ways to enjoy the festival are visiting a silletera farm in Santa Elena, taking a colorful chiva tour, going to concerts, seeing the flower display at Santafé Mall and experiencing the city’s most iconic parades.

In 2026, Feria de las Flores will take place from July 31 to August 9. The Chivas y Flores Parade is scheduled for August 1, the Classic and Antique Car Parade for August 7, and the Silleteros Parade for August 9.

More than a festival, it’s a beautiful way to understand Medellín’s culture, its countryside, its people and the pride behind one of Colombia’s most loved traditions.

Here, history is everywhere. You feel it while walking through colonial streets, passing by old plazas, trying Caribbean food, or watching the city light up at night.

Cartagena is vibrant, romantic, tropical and full of character. It’s a city where every corner has a story, and every moment feels a little more special.

Colombia has its own way of speaking 🇨🇴

If you travel through the country, you’ll quickly notice that Spanish here is full of local words, funny expressions and phrases you’ll hear almost every day.

Words like parce, quiubo, qué caja, oigan a este, guayabo and many more are part of the way Colombians connect, joke, greet each other and make conversations feel more alive.

Learning a few of these expressions is not only useful — it also helps you understand the culture a little better and feel more connected during your trip.

So next time you come to Colombia, don’t be surprised if someone says “¡quiubo, parce!” 👀

July 20: Colombia’s Independence Day 🇨🇴

Today, Colombia celebrates one of the most important days in its history: the day that marked the beginning of its journey toward independence.

But beyond the date, it’s also a beautiful moment to celebrate what makes this country so special: its people, its music, its colors, its landscapes, its culture and the warmth you feel in every region.

Colombia is full of history, life and contrasts — and that’s exactly why we love sharing it with the world.

Happy Independence Day, Colombia. 🇨🇴

One of the things we love about Colombia is that it never feels the same. 🏝️⛰️🏜️🌆

Every city has its own rhythm, every town has its own charm, and every region has a different way of welcoming you. You can have breakfast with mountain views, enjoy a typical lunch at a local market, and end the day watching the sunset in a completely different place.

The food is varied, the people are warm, the landscapes are vast, and the climate changes so much that you can shape your trip around what you enjoy most: beach, mountains, city life, nature or culture.

Colombia is perfect for those looking for adventure, different landscapes and unique travel experiences. It has a very special energy, the kind that makes a trip feel real.

And that’s exactly what makes it so easy to love. 💛💙❤️

Coming to Colombia means realizing the country is much bigger, more diverse and more beautiful than you imagined.

It’s not just Cartagena, Medellín or coffee. It’s the woman who recommends what to eat, the town you didn’t have in your plans, the fruit you try for the first time, the landscape that appears along the way, and the climate that changes depending on the region you’re in.

Here, you can travel on a good budget, eat delicious food, discover very different places and enjoy experiences that feel authentic, not staged.

Colombia has this beautiful mix of nature, culture, kind people and simple plans that often become the most memorable moments.

It’s a country best enjoyed without rushing.
