Sustainability policy, in which it establishes its commitment to the environmental, socio-cultural and economic aspects generated by its activities, products or services
To comply with sustainability policies, the following mechanisms have been developed, which will be published on the page for consultation of all clients of the travel agency G COLORS COLOMBIA:
In the following provisions there are aspects that both the client and the travel agency must ensure compliance, and if not, inform the appropriate body to take corrective measures of the case.
Environmental aspects:
A) Customers should inquire about the legal regulations in force in destinations that travel in order to avoid illegal traffic of species of flora and fauna.
B) Customers should support the organizations and competent entities, support campaigns focused on the prevention of illicit trafficking in flora and fauna, taking into account the current regulations.
C) Customers should inquire about information about the different attractions and activities related to the natural heritage of the destination they visit, ensuring compliance with environmental standards
D) Customers must adopt the culture of environmental care in all aspects that it covers in the destinations visited
E) customers should make efficient and responsible use of water in the place visited
F) customers must make efficient and responsible use of energy in the place visited
G) customers should make efficient and responsible use of the solid waste in the place visited, applying the recycling in the containers installed for it and depositing the trash in the appropriate place.
H) The travel agency does not use printed advertising media, so its advertising is 100% ecological
Socio-cultural aspects:
A) The client must treat in a respectful way the communities that he visits.
B) The client will not be able to traffic the cultural assets of the region that he visits or damage them by his own volition. Doing so will have the legal consequences that define the laws in the destination visited.
C) The client must always adopt appropriate and decent behavior, respecting the culture, laws and regulations of the destination visited. For more information you should inquire at the lodges of destination, airports and all the entities that you have at your disposal.
D) The client for any reason may adopt conduct that leads to exploitation and s*x trade with minors. In doing so, the legal consequences that apply in the current destination will be respected.
Economic Aspects
A) The travel agency will try to contract natural or legal persons of the destinations that it operates, in fair and equitable conditions according to the availability of the market, to the extent of its possibilities.
B) The travel agency will try to support the generation of employment, in just and equitable conditions, linking the local communities directly, to the extent of their possibilities.
C) The agency will promote the purchase and consumption of goods and services produced and marketed by the local community in the destinations that it operates, according to the availability of the market. The customer should prefer local products to support the local economy but this is a personal decision which is discretionary of the customer.
D) The travel agency will avoid the exploitation of child labor in the products and / or services it sells. If at the time of the client consuming any of these and / or services it is seen that this provision is not complied with, it must inform the travel agency immediately so that it can take the necessary measures and not contract more services with this provider.
F) The travel agency should avoid discriminating against race or gender in the programs it designs, operates, promotes or markets.
