Qanturs - Palomino

the path leads along or across the river, up and down through untouched nature to a lodge, where we are spending the night in hammocks. The following morning we are going to start the last part of our hike to the waterfall, passing through small indio territories, lush hills and green amazing vegetation. Once we get to the waterfall, you will have some time yo refresh yourself in the clear water p

ond and enjoy the picturesque landscape. Upon returning to the lodge, lunch will be served and the rest of our belogings can be picked up. we are then walking back to the starting point and if there is time, you have the possibility to enjoy a last swim in the river before heading back to Palomino. Note that there is also .the possibility to ride a horse to and back from the lodge (extra costs apply). OVERVIEW OF ALL FACTS:

Day 1:Total hiking time approximately 3 hours

- 12.00 pm: Pick up at your accommodation and transportation to the starting point of the hiking.
- 12:30 pm: Arrival with time to relax before we get moving- take a swinm in the local river and absorb the already beautiful scenary.
- 01:30 pm: Hike to the lodge with a local guide.
- 04 -5 pm Arrival at the lodge (relax and take a swim on the river).
- 07.00 pm: Dinner

Day 2:Total hiking time approximately 7 1/2 hours

- 06.30 am: Breakfast.
- 07.00 am: Hike to the waterfall with a local guide.
- 09.30 am: Arrival at the waterfall, time to relax.
- 10.30 am: Hike back towards the lodge.
- 12.30 - 01.30 pm: Lunch
- 01.30 pm: Hike back with local guide.
- 04.30 pm: Back at the starting point at river San Salvador (if there is time left, last possibility for a swim.)
- 05.30 pm: Return to Palomino. WHAT TO BRING.

- Enough water (you can also refill your bottle from the river, the water is perfectly safe to drink).
-Small or medium backpack
- Good shoes or trekking sandals (they will get wet as we have to cross the river more than once!).
- Change of clothes (including shoes for the evening).

PRICE:

200.000 COP per person, which includes all meals, overnight stay, local guide and transportation. Buy your ticket as early as possible or at the latest the day before until 6 pm.
